Popular fitness tracking app/service Endomondo updated two of its mobile apps, one for Android and the other one for Windows Phone.
Those of you with smartphones running Googleâs mobile OS got interval training and multi-platform sync support. The first of the two features is exclusive to Pro users, allowing them to create custom workouts by defining intervals and also includes an audio coach to guide them through each step. As for the multi-platform sync, it makes sure your workout statistics are updated across multiple platforms for easier tracking and social sharing.
Endomondo Sports Tracker for Windows Phone got a different set of changes, including Live Tiles that provide instant access to workout histories and News Feed updates from friends who use Endomondo Sports Tracker; a Newsfeed with the latest workouts and activities by friends and ability to comment on each of them; user-created music playlists for each workout; and the ability to share selected workouts on Facebook or setup auto-sharing of all workouts.
